About the Role
QuiverAI is building a product where the interface is part of the product. We are looking for a Design Engineer who can take work from concept to shipped code and raise the bar for frontend craft across the product.
You will work closely with design, product, and research to turn new ideas into interfaces people can trust and enjoy using.
Our team works together in-office in San Francisco, and we are currently hiring for San Francisco-based roles only.
What You Will Do
- Turn product and design direction into polished, production-ready interfaces.
- Take work from early concept through implementation, launch, and iteration.
- Build fast, reliable UI with strong motion, interaction quality, and visual craft.
- Debug frontend behavior in production and improve responsiveness across key flows.
- Evolve shared components and UI patterns to keep quality consistent as we scale.
- Improve how the product feels through animation, rendering performance, and visual precision.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years shipping production frontend products.
- Strong implementation skills in modern frontend frameworks and TypeScript.
- Deep care for visual detail, motion quality, and performance.
- Comfortable taking loose direction and driving it to shipped work.
- Enjoy working quickly in a small team and caring about details users can feel.
- Strong instincts for component systems and reusable UI architecture.
- Experience building creative tools or highly interactive web products is a plus.
- Experience contributing to component systems or design systems is a plus.
