About the Role
We’re looking for an AI Research Scientist to join our Research team. You’ll help build foundational models for vector design, working on cutting-edge research at the intersection of generative AI and design tools. In this role, you’ll develop novel architectures, publish at top conferences, and collaborate with product teams to translate research into production-ready features.

What You Will Do
- Develop Novel Architectures: Create new deep learning architectures specifically designed for vector graphics generation.
- Research State-of-the-Art: Implement and extend cutting-edge techniques in diffusion models, transformers, and generative AI.
- Ship Research to Production: Collaborate with the product team to translate research findings into production-ready features.
- Publish & Present: Share your research findings at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR) and contribute to the broader ML community.
- Mentor & Lead: Guide junior researchers and help build our research culture and practices.
About You
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Strong publication record in machine learning or computer vision
- Deep expertise in PyTorch or JAX
- Experience with generative models (diffusion, VAEs, GANs, transformers)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience with vector graphics or SVG is a plus
- Background in computational geometry or graphics is a plus
- Prior industry research experience is a plus
- Contributions to open-source ML projects is a plus
